Before dealing with Michael I really disliked recruiters. But Michael has changed that perception for me. He really understands what our needs are, and he has spent a lot of time with us over four years to get that. As a result, he now knows what exactly what type of person will fit our business and culture, and he knows when to push and when not to push. He has come forward with some very good candidates and a large number of people working for us have come through Talent Blueprint.
It's an incredibly tight market right now, and he’s still able to find very good people in that market. No matter the challenge, he doesn’t back away, he just says ‘leave it with me’.
Michael knows our industry. Many recruiters say this, but he actually does. He is very open and nimble. It’s like working with internal HR but better. He doesn’t just follow up with there’s something in it for him – he’s genuinely always interested in our business.
Michael is easy to talk to. He puts candidates at ease to help get them across the line, and screens them exceptionally well – technically, personally and on our other key criteria. His ability to identify suitable candidates is very good.
I like the Talent Blueprint model because we deal with 1-2 people including the Director. We don’t have a new agent every six months, and don’t have to repeat our story over and over again.

I’m now a Talent Blueprint client. I think Michael does a great job of vetting candidates so the process takes less time and is therefore good value, and the candidates are well prepared. My experience with other recruiters is that they are often quite impersonal and it’s a game of numbers. What makes Talent Blueprint different is their personal approach. With other recruiters it’s about numbers and commissions, it’s a volume game. But Michael focuses on giving the time to get the return, both for us and Talent Blueprint.
He’s recruited a diverse range of positions for us – from Senior Operations Managers to maintenance staff. There’s not a lot of recruiters that can offer such a diversified service, and that’s why I use Talent Blueprint and won’t go anywhere else.
